Problem and Purpose Statement

Problem Statement:
San Francisco State University, a smoke free campus, is in need of a system to direct
users to the designated smoking areas on campus.

Purpose Statement:
The purpose of the study was to improve the signage system to effectively utilize the
designated smoking areas on the San Francisco State University campus.
